Blockpit named best blockchain startup at Central European Startup Awards
Blockpit was awarded with the Central European Startup Award (CESAwards) as Best Blockchain Startup! CEO Florian Wimmer also received the award as Austrian Founder of the Year. Now Blockpit is nominated in the global finale of the awards and could be named Best Blockchain Startup worldwide.
In addition to claiming the categories “Best Blockchain Startup” and “Founder of the Year” in the Austrian ranking of the CESAwards, we are now also “Best Blockchain Startup” of Central Europe. Our CEO Florian flew to Warsaw on October 24th to personally accept the award. Many thanks to our fantastic community who voted for us and opened the door for us to take part in the Global Startup Awards.
Blockpit to advance to the global finale
The CESAwards are part of the Global Startup Award Network and have been held since 2014. In the competition, awards are presented annually to startups, founders, accelerator programs, investors and co-working spaces. The winner is determined by an online voting and an expert jury. The jury consists of well-known personalities from the global startup scene and investors from Silicon Valley. Among them are Jeff Burton, Co-Founder at Electronic Arts, Tanya Soman, Venture Partner at 500 startups and Omoju Miller, Senior Data Scientist at GitHub.
“We are very pleased that Blockchain technology receives attention at the CESAwards,” says Florian, “Blockpit’s success confirms our commitment to keep pushing with our vision. On 21 December, at the grand finale in Guangzhou (China), it will be decided wether Blockpit takes home the global award for “Best Blockchain Startup”.
